Hooghly Engineering & Technology College (HETC) is a Degree Engineering College established in 2004, run by Hooghly Engineering and Technology College Society (HETCS), is a non-profit making organisation engaged in the promotion of technical education amongst the students and the dissemination of scientific knowledge in the society. A good number of eminent social workers, educationists, and public figures are directly involved in the Management of HETCS. The Managing Committee of the society consists of eminent professors, doctors, lawyers, and public representatives looking after the different sectors of activities of the society.
